THE BUSSE CHAT THREAD!

Ordered this guy today. Custom shop Mentor. Seems pretty cool! How thick is the blade? Basically can i beat on it if necessary? It will be for edc,whittling,food prep,ect...mostly. Unfortunately it will probably be delivered early next week and i cant leave the house till next Friday. Wife is outta town and these dogs cant be left alone...lol!

Also. Could someone please tell me how i can get these handle scales and that blue liner on a busse? I must have it....or atleast the handles and liners put on a Busse.
I need this knife or the handles in my life!

Edit: nice score!… those were a “VERY LIMITED” run, not expected to last more than 30 minutes!
I like them because they remind me of a blend between Game Warden blade + Pork Shank handle👍🏼

Those are “Nuclear Option” handles. You can only get them on a knife on the secondary market, or by chance, when you order a new knife and select handle material upgrade = *Nuclear Option.

*The Nuclear option is a grab bag of sorts. This pile of handles has many hand-laminated G10 and Micarta slabs as well as some solid colors not normally offered! This option does not allow you to choose your handle! You do not get A CHOICE! You will get whatever you get by the blind luck of the draw! It is a veritable PORKpourri of oddball handle materials! Nobody likes whine with their bacon, so we have implemented a No Returns /No whine clause. There are no returns on the Nuclear Option.

I was hoping they weren't a Nuclear option...lol! I was ready to send something in to be re handled...lol! Being a beach/ surfer bum that color combo speaks to me...lol! Unfortunately im too far from the beach currently which is absolutely killing me!

Right on! So I scored a pretty cool knife! Had no clue they were a limited run! Looks like a great edc and around the house knife. They wife will be happy! I can finally stop whipping the Liberty Heart out for everything. Even though ive picked up a good amount of Busse and Kin since ive been here that Liberty Heart is my absolute favorite! From the time I wake up until bed its on me!

I was actually debating on a Game Warden. I saw this and did a quick Google search to get a quick education and I immediately bought it.
 
Also if anyone has an idea of what color the handle may be id appreciate it. Looks tan to me,but in some pics ive seen so does the green micarta. Im trying to match a sheath for it and was gonna go blue if its tan.

My wife got me a Rodent Solution! I did some snooping and saw she was looking at one and a Desert Patrol. I sent Nuker some pics of the Rodent Solution just to make sure it was legit and it passed the test. It was on ebay.
She knew I really wanted one and did great! Cant wait to get it!
She didnt go on her work trip. She is not only having medical issues....nothing serious, but painful...I got her sick with some bug i had. Now I get to get my Mentor today!
My plan worked!

This week I get to go to the vet and schedule May-June vet appointments! Most of the dogs that gotta go are easy,but i have 3 of my problem children that need to go.
So I gotta slow my buying down...well maybe. There are a few knives id have to make workout if I find them....lol!
I discovered the Nano Fusion Badger Attack and the Howling Rat little mischief? Then I absolutely need a Rat Trail.
Sarsquatch is still a hunt,but I can wait on that one.
