The Busse Combat Folder Has Become A Reality . . . And It Only Took 30 Years!!! . . . It Is Coming Friday, September 19, 2025 At 9:00 PM Eastern!!!

The only nit-picky thing if I was to find something would be the inside radius of the thumbhole would benefit from just a very light chamfer on the edge. It is machined very precisely and as such the 90° angle is quite sharp.
The Swamp Rat Rat Trap had the same issue.

Yes! Cool teardown video WValtakis WValtakis , and I am happy your version finally arrived.

While my wife and I were watching your vid I was saying "45...45!" Lol.

I am not going to swap out the bearings, but it was great of Busse to ship them to me anyway.

Thanks again for the teardown; the ball bearing in there makes more sense now. 👍😎

Nice Vid. I don't know that it matters but I noticed you put the new bearings in upside down. They might fit better into the recessed groove and make it less stiff if you put them in like the originals came from Busse.

They're solid washers, I'm not sure how flipping them over would make a difference

Make a gt37.5 and im in , the 35 is too thin and the 40 is too thick. Also would prefer without a choil. But at least they are in production 🙂

The choil is necessary to clear the hump in the lockbar around the thumbstud in the closed position, but it could be a little smaller and still avoid contact.

Holy fidget toy.

This video really sunk an arrow of regret deep into my guts.

I kind of "wrote off" the GT35 in my mind, thinking it was too thin overall but it seems beautifully functional.

Your videos are brilliant at showcasing the build quality of these folders, too. Awesome to see Jerry smashed em outta the park.

I missed out on the GT35 & WD.... but have a Drop Zone & GT40 incoming..!! Can not wait to get these in hand.

Part number on the replacements use used?
I think they came off a Benchmade Bedlam...they were black and stepped with a tiny domed nub on top. I had to shorten the connecting screw a bit and use a bit of brass tubing to shim the hole diameter in the lockbar as well.
