Jerry,

will the ordering be open for a few days at least or is this a keyboard sprint to fight over three?

I absolutely will order one and am ready to pay.

Usually this kind of announcement means it will be available on the website to order, in a leisurely fashion. Not a “Ganzaaa”…

I hope so. I have wanted one of these for many years and don’t have another fifteen left in me to wait for the next round.

Glad I got the first one over 17 years ago.

I’m surprised the price has only increased by ~$200!
Well I guess that's actually really good considering inflation. I just can't bring myself to pay that for a knife

Oooohh, I’d like to own one again. After I get a trailer and zero turn mower this week, will see what’s left!

We are proud to announce the return of the legendary Busse MOAB!

This is the Mother Of All Bowies.

The MOAB was designed for those who hunt mice with a 50BMG!!!

You can fat shame this monster to your heart's content and there won't be any hurt feelings to deal with.

She's big, fat and proud of every ounce she weighs.

The stories of the MOAB from over 17 years of use in the field have become the stuff of legends.

The sheath alone takes nearly two full cows worth of leather to make!

Heavy farm or construction equipment is required to haul this beast to your campsite.

The MOAB weighs in at just a bit under ten tons and if you turn your back on her at any time, she will eat you out of house and home.

The incomparable chopping power of the MOAB is accompanied by hernias, torn muscles, and multiple back braces required to help you heal from "Heavy Use".

"Heavy Use" is defined as simply pulling it out of its sheath!

Good luck to all who go for the bacon on this one!

Let's Drink!

Jerry

One of the best knives EVER made!❤️❤️❤️

It's been some time since I ordered a knife directly........I missed out the last time these were available. I won't miss out again.😍

I'm hoping this may herald the day of the re-opening of the custom shop?🙏

I'm not sure I have enough credit for this one.... Know I don't have the extra cash.

Much want. My avatar blade was bought at Blade (way back when) used and then sold at a loss. Guess I should have held onto it longer. It was .40 and tended to bind in the smaller stuff and would give you a good workout in no time. LOL. Looking forward to it.

It I do, I probably shouldn't tell the wife (yet). Might be time to clean out the gun safe....

I THINK the last time these were produced, they started at around $1,700. So, in inflationary terms, the price isn’t bad.

CPK K18s were almost 50% less for a similar amount of steel, but much longer and double-edged. However, I think Nathan concluded he’d way under-priced those blades.

I'm not sure if Stupid is an insult, or a compliment on this one???

Hahah
Wow...... Good luck for all who partake!
Crazy, for sure

I am certainly glad to see the return of this one. I can't participate due to other funding concerns but I look forward to seeing all the new Moabs!

I think we are about to see some really good knives on the exchange as folks make room for their new Moabs.

I’m genuinely surprised it hasn’t started yet. I had considered doing so myself, but I’d have to part with knives I will/do use to acquire a knife I would barely/never use. I’ll just have to accept the MOAB remaining a fantasy for me. Unless, Jerry Busse Jerry Busse figures out a way to make it fold.
