I like the pinchably tall sheepsfoot on the sowbelly, as on the 18. Quick access with imprecise dexterity.

(All carbon except for the red sowbelly and the sheepsfoot on the 75.)

Jer, I always prefer the mark side pull on the sheepfoot blade, but Case have made them both ways.

I happened to have my only sowbelly in my pocket for a morning walk, and stumbled on this thread when I opened BF at lunch.

What an excellent knife!

The Case Flag Shield in fire engine red series are some of the sharpest, most solidly built Case knife I have experienced. A single blade sowbelly is one of my favorite knives.

My favorite whitler is an old yeller 18 because of the curve. I think I would get a lot of use out of a sowbelly.

Me too. Then I got married to a lady who ran Ironmen. It rubbed off on me. I cut back on carbs, lost 40 pounds, went from 38 to 34" waist
