Holy hell! I just got it JK! Thing is a serious tank! That back spike is very pointy aNd acute as well, wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that thing! Took it right out to the garage and started beating on some paneling, 2x4s, etc and it was a champ! The curve of he hawk makes for some serious impact when you swing it. Also, as an unexpected surprise, it chops wood very well. I only say that because I did not consider this when designing the head geometry. The upper handle contour is very comfy, and the lower subtle finger grooves are perfect. Overall I'd say it is a masterpiece. John you've really been a gentleman throughout this entire process, this was a great first foray into the world of customs! Also, the leather sheath is perfect! It's got that worn, aged look to it and it is really fine work! If I ever figure out how to post pics here, I will litter this forum with pictures of my new hawk!
