The Cassam Tactical Hawk!

Thanks guys for the positive feedback! Mqqn, I'm glad you appreciate some of the design elements, I can only take half credit though (other goes to JK for his masterful work). It means a lot coming from forumites who have as much if not more passion about blades and gear as i do. I'm very excited to see different iterations of this hawk if others order them!

JK- email inbound, and feel free to grab any of my pics off the site if you want some in addition to the oak Cassam you're working on for clich!

Yes! Wait. Today's only Wednesday. Damn. two more days. Back to staring at the pile of stuff I can't wait to chop

Handles are glueing on now, but tomorrow is my day off, taking my wife for tests.

Its all good. Ill just keep practicing my Jedi mind trick chopping in the mean time. Seems to be working I already have a "splitting" headache :D

I was just out chopping some 2x4s in my garage! The sweet spot as a chopper is the bottom portion of the blade. With the 33oz behind it, it gets great purchase into wood. The top, slightly recessed portion of the blade is devastating when following through on a swing into flesh or softer substances (in my meat tests). The bottom half always makes contact first. The very tip of the spike has bent a bit from hammering on wood and concrete, etc, but the way I look at it is all I need to do is file it down and make it a bit stouter. All in all, this tool is beastly!

Can't wait to see the pics, and congrats clich

Also, hope everything goes ok with your wife's tests JK

I offer them in tan, black, or green canvas micarta, oak, and orange G10.

If Edwood catches wind of these babies he'll want one for sure.

It's more of a bruiser at 33oz and I know he likes to travel light. I could be wrong and I don't want to speak for him, but either way I'm in love with this hawk!
