Afternoon, guys! Stuck on a server install today. Missing Oktoberfest! Hope you're all doing well.
 
Hey guys! I survived another mail day and soccer, woo hoo! Actually soccer was pretty cool...

Anything going on? I just finished up work (framelock in progress) and have been working on gathering stuff for my worm bin. Vermicomposting... :D
 
You call it vermicomposting, I call it fish bait! I've gotten a pretty solid colony going in the yard now, I don't even buy worms anymore. Just spend a few minutes with the hose flooding a few square feet and I'll have a dozen crawlers! I release the ones I don't use back into the yard to keep the colony going.

Pretty crazy day here, work all day to then rush off to a wake for a friend, just got home from that and now have a going away party for another friend starting now. Roller coaster of emotion. Such is life.

Kid soccer! I call it "bunch ball" as its usually just a group of kids all kicking the ball in a big bunch until it pops out and they run after it to just bunch up around it and kick it at each other some more, lol! Little dude had a soccer game today as well, he's doing really well now! Starting to get aggressive with the ball, too! His mother and I both competed at national and international levels in our own lives, so he definitely got the competitive drive from us!

Hey guys,

Hope you all had a good weekend. I got some shop time. Had a request for a custom set of matching curly maple knife handles an d 1911 pistol grips. I'll share a picture later this week if anyone is interested when the finish is done.

Evening fellas.

Well, the truck is packed, fueled up, rifles clean, gear checked. Headed out tomorrow at 0430 headed to an undisclosed location near Mill City, NV in search of those big mule deer. Got the Stinger on my hip, I hope I get to use it! Two cameras, lots of batteries and a bunch of film, plus my dslr.

If I don't get to check in, I'll catch you guys on the flip side!

Hey all,
Just another Tuesday here. Got to entertain some customers last night and had maybe some of the best prime rib I've ever tasted. It was wonderful. These guys are from Europe and I had to tap out early. Not sure how they can tie it on and be so sharp the next morning! Practice, I guess.

Morning guys! knives showing up today, oh boy! Should have 3-8 knives today.. I have a tough week til Monday so I planned some goodies for my week of rest. HOpe to see the DFKs today, but I have a feeling they didn't make it out yet :) BUT MAYBE! And of course a grab bag from Busse.

In case anyone is interested, here is a picture of a matching set of 1911 grips, knife handles and a firesteel handle all out of one block of curly, green dyed maple. Just finished these up and mailed them off.
