Thanks Rolf!

I forged a few Japanese style blades in W1 and W2 that I want to get to, even have some nice silk for the cord wrap. I need to finish the guard shoulders and heat treat them.

Orders only for now though, I've been sitting on some nice knives for way too long!


We're going to Albuquerque on Monday! The big city! Amber is turning 2 and we're going to the Zoo and more fun stuff.

fort henry knives... i've avoided that site for years.. but damn layaway.... too easy... evil.... hi rolf. :D
 
I had a mini a-100 that I like ok.. but now it is all horseman for me.. but it has a re-grind on it and a nice Ti thumb disc.. then I removed all texture from the clip side and rounded the g10 on the other side... emerson clip on it... no wave anymore either, phew. Love this version of that knife.. I need to upload a pic for you :)

DFK Ti bottle opener been working great lately.. it truly is a huge improvement over the original design....

Packing, packing, packing. Checklists, errands, organizing, packing. Out of state hunting trips are amazing, but they are a pain to prep for! On a side note, fixed all the electrical gremlins in my truck last weekend, first time in years that every light and option has worked, lol! Thankfully there isn't much interdependence between systems in my truck, so it wasn't a big deal leaving them alone.

Get to pick up my new pistol tomorrow! Then it's cleaning time, got to get two rifles and the pistol all cleaned and ready to rock!

Thinking of bringing the Stinger along, but white paper micarta scales... how well does that stuff clean up? Blood stain it much?

Hey all,
Up early to finish sand and first coat of oil on a bunch of wood handles. ...also decided to quit coffee this month... that might have to change.

Hope you all are off to a great start.
 
Wife has us on a nuts and twigs only diet for 30 days. I've lost 12 lb in 21 days, and I was already pretty thin. I like my coffee all doctored up, so just decided to bag it if I can only have it black.

These handles are all for Survive! Knives models. Walnut, Cocobolo and curly maple. These are just work in progress, one coat of finish.

^^^ Bacon is good! We have eaten bacon on this diet (no sugar added, so the really "healthy" kind :) ) so it's gotta be OK.
