It's Thursday and all downhill from here! I'm going to try and go fishing this weekend, the boy has been asking about going again. Plus it's a full moon so that will make for some good fishing too!

I wanna learn how to fishing it seems really fun! I used to think it's boring sitting down for hours sometimes go home with nothing. But that soon changed when I saw someone fishing at Santa Monica beach with no fancy tools but a simple stick. He catches one every 10 minutes and I was there watching him for about an hour, it was fun!

Wow this week has been crazy for me regarding all these job interviews when for the last year or two no one wanted me. Plus I been working out/dieting for the last 3 weeks or so to get into shape for law enforcement agility tests (knee surgeries last year) so its been a long road for me. Now I just gotta place in the top 1-2 spots to get into the academy lol or stay being a chemist bum
BLK- my dad and me just realized we been fishing all wrong on the beaches here in the bay area. We didn't know we needed a very flexible rod to keep on casting and reeling in. We went older tech using a stiff as 10 foot rod with silver weights lol. Makes it very difficult.

BLK, if you're close to Lake Perris, that's one of the top public fishing lakes in the state! Monster bluegill in there, Lake Castaic is another great spot for bass. Surf fishing is not something I do, so I can't really help ya there.

Saw on the news last night that there was a pretty serious fire near here in a small river town community known as Korth's Pirate Lair. 7 homes destroyed, a bunch more damaged, but no lives lost. There was a good thing about this though, all that smoke in the air made this...

Get a cane pole Ben! They consist of a Bamboo pole with line attached to the end. We had 3 tanks (that's a pond for you that don't speak Texan ) from 20'x40' to 3 acres and all were loaded with fish. I was a fishing maniac growing up... got all into gear and eventually settled on the cane pole for a lot of my fishing.
We had a lot of fun sailing the Caribbean... did a lot of unsuccessful fishing from the boat when we were underway but we managed to collect lots of flying fish which are tasty! lol you don't want to get whacked in the head with one. We once found one in the bathroom sink..

Ben Catalina sounds cool! Sara and her family used to sail there regularly so I have heard a lot about it.
Yesterday i worked on the Mega!!!! after that I organized my shop as it was getting messy... I have 4 organizers for tooling going now and about 100 items to keep track of. I ground some Ti scales at the end off th day and things are looking good!
Big day today, you guys have a good one!

Nice photo.. I don't have a tele lens or camera anymore, just the iphone6 camera, and for moon shots.. it sucks ballz. But I did get some cool photos last night of the night with moon (tiny and full) and lights... Busy now, might upload, who knows.. I'm beginning to get old like Rolf and forget how to upload
D- bamboo rods.. I have some perfect bamboo to use.. was wondering how I was going to do it.. I really wanted to be able to reel it in though.. short casting.. somehow "thread" the line through carved slots possibly.. any ideas?

Very nice!!! You can probably take the head off pretty easily and that will help a ton when moving it. Congrats!!!
