1921 was the HR, some of the early 1922s were, looks like that might have come from later production

Yes, now I come to think of it you are right. Only have a sketchy knowledge of American coins unfortunately, know more abut European. A fine looking Dollar in my view.

I put an eighth inch hole right in old Lizzie's face :) to make a stout washer I needed at work, in a pinch.
It worked like a charm. I was defacing currency which I understand is a crime, but regard the act as equivalent to tearing off a mattress tag. :eek:image.jpg
I counter sunk for a few screw heads into the hardwood using the pen blade on my knife after I had sucked down the board with the screw and washer, was working with fewer tools than normal so had to make do.

Just finished this "Knife with Coin" / "Coin with Knife" for a collector. A 1775 Eight-Reales Spanish Colonial; minted in Mexico City; salvaged from the The Lady Burgess Shipwreck. The Lady Burgess belonged to the English East India Company and set sail for India in April, 1806. She went down in the early hours of the 20th of April 1806 off the Cape Verde Islands.
