I totally agree. As close as the Zulu and spear point are, they’re cousins at best. Definitely not twins.

They'll dry out a little and the threads will show more. That also might be regular denim micarta and not the linen which is darker. Two ways to darken it back up, rub a tiny bit of mineral oil in, or some hand grease with use. The sheath will sometimes wick some oils out so they'll show a bit lighter where they contact the leather.

Ah ok, didn't realize there were 2 versions of the denim. That linen sure is purdy!

I gave mine away as a gift to a young roofer. Guy on the crew who was so excellent and self effacing.
I wanted to give him a tip - so I gave him an edge instead.

Guess I should get on the dibs list for another...
