The Cowbell Build Thread

I meant to do one drop in blue and one in maroon and one spear in blue and one in maroon. Instead I glued up twins. I realized it too late and whispered that all too familiar line to myself... "😖Ohhh you dumb bastard😆"

Getting these shaped up and ready for the Redmeadow spine etch. From there I'm locking myself in the leather room and making sheaths for these and four Giveaways.

Here's a special one that was ordered for none other than our very own Tim Knotts by his wife for his Birthday. He's livin the good life, retired and travelling around the country. He's been a good friend for a long time and thought he deserved a unique Cowbell, this stabilized Water Oak(?) fit the bill. He opened it today, Happy Birthday Tim!

Any cowbells ringing lately? We need some new pics if you have time.
Been a busy summer and I've been holding my cards close to my chest. I'm grinding through the 45 I have heat treated with over a 100 ready after that. Working through a couple dozen Scouts (brut de forge). New model is being refined, formed Redmeadow Knives LLC, new business cards coming, planning a new shop for hopefully no later than spring of 2026. We are so close gentleman, so close. Official unemployment of the long awaited kind is right around the corner and I couldn't be more ready.

Good to hear from you, John. Sounds like good things are in the works. I'm looking forward to it.

That’s great to hear. 😎👍

I’m a little jealous about the unemployment thing. The spike in the cost of living has set me back a few months but I’m still at your heels.

Sounds very busy, glad to hear things are going well, sounds like a lot of cool things coming down the pike. Keep up the good work, and enjoy some time with the family. Have you gone anywhere new lately this summer?
