I just now took another look at it, and noticed the caramel is a thin layer over the white. Pretty cool effect there. And on both sides.

WOW...always admire people who have the balls to tweak/pimp their Crks...i thought it was factory as well. Looks awesome:)

Yeah the caramel does look really nice on this one.. However, I liked the one that got sold better than this... lol...

I hear you on that! AZCK had a decorated numbered P that sold within minutes of getting listed. I missed it by minutes in spite of getting at least a dozen 'Heads-Up!' PM's and emails. The following week the put another up that was a lower #, and I was waiting for it and scored it. But the huger numbered one was prettier, and I think of it to this day, even though the lower number is more desirable to collect.

OK, musings from someone just walking in the door may not always make a lot of sense...... Time to get a bite to eat!
 
Nothing fancy - but my first CRK is inbound! Went with a brand new classic sebenza 21, but small size which is what I think the best fit for me will be.

It was DIRTY, but for $310....I didn't mind cleaning it. :D

No date BG42 with old style clip.

Pure luck, that's for sure. Might need to go back to the spa, though. The lockup is deeper than most and it's pretty sticky.

Can CRK actually fix a really late and sticky lock-up? i wonder what do they do with it.

Anyone have any ideas? Just curious, since they do not produce any more regulars.
 
Here kitty kitty. I had two cats come in today. The first was a small lefty "eyes", pre-idaho stamp with smooth pins. The second was a large tom bobcat, who came in to my call. They make a great pair.

A new carburization treatment to the lockbar should aid with the stickyness. If not, so be it. A sticky lock is a secure lock.

I totally forgot, I just got this large Starbenza 21; it was supposed to be here by Christmas and they sent a small instead of a large!! This one finally arrived but I still have the small, what a mess. Do you notice the lighter color against the Startac or is it just my old eyes? It really doesn't matter but I think it's peculiar.
