Cleaning and lubing her up later tonight... :D

Thanks Sean for the chance of letting me own this beautiful piece of CRK history... :)

I was on the page looking for a pic of mine, but just had to pause here. Your pic is droolworthy.

I waited almost a day to spill the beans, just wanted to at least see it had shipped.... I must have had some real good Karma built up to get this, and for the price I did.

I've told of my small Maple 2010 Annual that was stolen before, happened when I had to leave AGH in a hurry while it was enroute. I was on my 4th tour in the sand, my second in AFG. The first one was cut short, too. My second tour as a contractor, too, I'd started collecting CRK's the year before during my first tour as a contractor. So 2012 rolls around, I'm stationed on a small somewhat remote base. I noticed a lump growing in a place where lumps don't belong. I showed it to the PA on base, she kept a close eye on it for a few days. She saw it was growing, and fast. she said get a biopsy ASAP. The weather was iffy, the regular chopper routes couldn't be counted on, so she called in a medevac to get me to Bagram.

The day before that beautiful Annual got there, from what I'm told. It was cancer, I spent the next year+ home getting treatment. :barf: But my package was seen by one person, who I just couldn't convince to get it sent back to the seller, or forwarded to me. Sure enough, it disappeared. It's bd enough that it was stolen, but no one there had any appreciation for my knives. That sucks even worse, because only 60 of these were made each year. The sting never quite went away, but something came up for sale that eases it just a bit. Almost as pretty, here's my Inbound!

This one and the Mesquite Mnandi just MAY be waiting for me downstairs in the leasing office. :p :p The tracking info where these came from is a but harder to read than ours. ;)

Just some pictures of my morning sun.

I finally had the balls to do this with my tanto sebenza. Hope you guys like it as much as I do.

Anyone from here who got this last Monday? If so, I hate you!!! Lol.

Oh how I hate myself for missing this piece... :(

Thanks, it's not bad for the first time.
I never engraved titanium before. And also the first time anodizing titanium. I'm very pleased with the result.

And the last foto was before anodizing.

The coloring on that one isn't my favorite by any stretch, but what I really like is that the back is a good match with the front. A lot of mammoths the backs are very different from the front. My awesome blue and green one has a very plain back in comparison.

I like the coloring on this one as I prefer the caramel color on a Mammoth bark.. wish I was able to grab it..

In any case, I hope I do find my first mammoth soon... :)

PM me please.

They had another caramel without the damascus. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it has.
