The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

I do believe you will be pleasantly surprised when you see that ladder UG, the pic doesn't make it look 1/4th as good as it does in hand.

I hope you can take better pics of it, enjoy!

The pics of the ladder didn't really do it justice, but the Spiro is the one that you have to see in hand. The verdict in is, Spiro is an awesome pattern!

Didn't want to break the rules of the folders pic thread, where you mention that:

I wasn't sure if I'd really like Spiro damascus, but I bought one because I didn't have one.

... but ... you kidding, right? Stunning! They both are, but for me, Spiro kicks it up one notch. Congrats!

Congrats and Welcome to the World of CRK

Finally showed up today if you can believe it. Very cool knife for sure. It is smaller than I thought but I love it. handling a lefty specific knife is a treat! Can't wait to EDC this.

Cheers,

No, I really wasn't sure. Of course, those colored ones were TDF. But looking at puts of regular Spiro I just wasn't sure. I'm glad I know now. ;)

Gotta love those numbered fixed blades, it's a CHRIS REEVE SHADOW I 8.75" SPEAR POINT and I can't wait. This is the sellers pictures.

Very eagerly awaiting this one. Why? Because I've owned it before! Lone_Wolfe has been awesome enough to let it come back home. Thanks so much!

Don't know whether I did a good thing or ..... not so! Got a new arrivals message yesterday from a custom knife dealer I've purchased from before. At the time, was too busy to look at what was new. Remembered this AM and went to the site and saw this one. Have not seen any (though there must be a number of them out there) annuals with serrated edges, so it caught my eye. Pic on the site wasn't that good, but the description said it was a 2000 edition, in mint condition, with maple burl inlay and BG42 blade. Impulse took over and bought it. So, now will wait to see if I am happy when it gets here. Not a huge fan of serrated (or partially serrated) blades .... but don't plan on using it anyway!!!

Now, the wait begins.

You're very welcome! First time I ever let a UG get away from me, but there's something different about a previous custodian calling it back home. It's meant to be. This one would've never hit the Exchange. Hope the reunion is a joyous one! :)

Got a large box elder annual on the way from a forum member. I have to wait till my BD to open it though as my wife got it for me for my BD, so its going to be a long month......lol. She said I am hard to buy for and that I would appreciate this. Its a keeper for life...., just as she is :D...!!! Its been a rough past 10 months, here is hoping life it taking a turn upwards......!!!

This will go nice with my maple burl large annual.
