to be honest, I am not sure why I waited this long to get a Damascus with a plain scale.. it's simply awesome...

I strive to look for only the "HC" Damascus eversince I got my first one a couple of months ago. They are absolutely fantastic, the coating on them protects the blade from fading, plus they look phenomenal... :D

There's really something to be said for the contrast of plain scale with awesome blade, or of plain blade with awesome scale. When the two are combined -- when you see a knife like ice-man's Night Sky regular with Spirograph -- the mind reels. It's hard to know where to look first.
