The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

Can't wait for this one. Tried to restrain myself from purchasing anymore knives and just couldn't hold out. Also purchased my first Busse, a Double Talon Battle Mistress. As you can see my self discipline is just awesome.

You do know that the ROF isn't H/C, don't you? ;) :p

According to Bill Burke the "steels are 15n20 and 1084". These steels both have over .75% carbon content. A minimum of .55% is needed to be considered a high carbon , so this is in fact a High Carbon steel. ;)
Unless you meant High contrast in which case I have no idea what is the standard of measuring appearances...:confused:

Nice! Never owned a one piece.
I have always had a slight desire for a Nkonka. I like the brass tips on the guard. Not sure that the tool set is much use but if you wanted to squirrel away some "survival" stuff in the handle that would make more sense to me. I have a philosophy of knives that every knife I have, I use. (Shhhh... Don't tell LW!) Having said that, there are some knives, OK... quite a few knives, that I am very judicious and careful about their use. Like I will occasionally use them to open air envelopes. As in "air" guitar.
How many of you that are into folders have a one piece?

Wanting to buy or trade for African Blackwood with B&W zebra damascus.
As pictured above. Thanks for looking!

I no longer have my one pieces, but have had a few. My favorite was actually the ubejane. The broad blade was quite unique among the one piece lineup. I also really like a nice aviator 😊

Cajun Blade, didn't know you were into OPK's.
I might have a few for you to take a gander at.

I have quite a few One Piece Knives. That's what brought me to CRK in the first place. After acquiring quite a few OPK, I decided to try the Sebenza. I figured if the quality of the Sebenza was equal to the quality of the OPK, I would love it. Well, I was hooked big time from that point on. My first Sebenza....??? A large regular in BG-42 for $280 on eBay. It's never going anywhere. 😉

Ok, who's the lucky one who grabbed that 2009 Large 21 Mammoth Bark w/ old style Raindrop?

Tapatalk.

Thank you man, personally for me it is just the opposite, I fell in love with one piece, but lately I'm thinking of buying a Sebenza... The one piece of Reeve for me are practically perfect, I really love them... There is not even a model that I don't like. As regards to the use, these knives have been created just to be used! In the DVD "the exquisite blade" mr.Chris Reeve shows in the woods as they should be used.. Anyway, this Aviator is the last that is arrived to me, very small (4" blade), perfect how EDC, and for precision works. Unfortunately, my hands are very large, and therefore do not fit perfectly with the handle
