The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

Ran across a small Sebenza Southard backspacer on the FB Group and snapped it up! Never thought I'd find a small backspacer as Brad only made around 30 of them.

I wonder if it'll fit on my small micarta tanto?

Now i'll need to find one for my large 21 :)

That's great news! I was just going to tell you not to lose hope. Something I bought from Thailand took two months to arrive, and I was just as worried as you. I can't wait to see the pics when you get it :)

I'm crossing my fingers for Saturday, as I have my refugees from the mothership, and my Black Palm due that day. I'm just relieved, I've been rattling cages at USPS and customs for 2 days. They tell me on the phone that it hasn't arrived, 10 minutes later it shows up in tracking........

That one's going to be a high point, that's for sure. Not only that awesome bark, but it's an old nick/new pivot, which is my preferred combination.

Congrats on scoring that beauty LW. What is difference in pivots? I've seen that mentioned before.

Here's a pic I swiped that shows it well. The older pivot is larger and covers a bit of the inlay, the new is smaller and leaves more inlay showing. Both knives in this pic have the old nail nick, which means the one with the new pivot is a transitional. Shortly after introducing the new pivot, CRK also changed over to the new nail nick.

^ Thanks LW. I didn't realize how different they were until I saw them side by side. I don't own any of the newer Mnandis.
 
I am excited to have tracked down a plain jane Umfaan. Umfaans are a bit hard to find and a pj is even harder. Happy New Year gang!

Thanks! I was starting to get nervous, for sure. A few phone calls and some cage rattling, and..........
