The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

Nice order XJ. These are smooth as silk. Very nice. Congrats

I don't normally post other knives on the CRK forums, but I'll make an exception in this case. I have a custom Michael Raymond Estrella coming on Thursday. He was mentored by Scott Cook who use to be Chris's shop foreman. You all are probably familiar with Scott's Locksa model. Well Michael is doing integral frame locks as well if not better than Scott now. Fantastic folder. I got to study one up close at the 2012 Blade show and these are awesome. A bit shorter than a large 21. Ergos are great along with fit and finish. Top shelf.

Looks sweet! The contours on the Estrella seem to be more comfortable than the Lochsa too.

I know it is not a real fancy one, but it is the one I decided on to be my first CRK.
It happens to be my 3rd, but I finally found it available and can not wait to carry it.
I like the look of the micarta inlay and want to try the insigno blade.

That is what I have on the way also! Ordered over a year ago (!), a small, lefty, micarta inlaid, custom grey lanyard, Insingo bladed Sebenza. Should be here either later this week or early next week.

I was told someone was waiting over a year and I was ready to place my order when I found this one. It should be here at be here at the end of the week. I am sure it will be worth your wait.

I've wateched this one for a while, and finally saw is at the right moment in time. I was drunk enough, and I'm flying to the sandbox in the morning. So I bought myself this going away present...

I've always admired that one. I almost bought it when I saw it at the original dealer, I almost bought it when franz sold it, almost again when lisa sold it, and I thought about it today too. Glad you got it. Stay safe.

It's funny how so many of us feel certain ways about a particular knife. I also almost puller the trigger on this blade. Amazing for sure!

Thanks, friends! I'm enroute Afghanistan. I don't expect to see my latest pretties for a few months, at least. But I'll sure have some nice CRK's to see when I get home!

I thought we were suppose to be finished with that place? Safe travels and God bless!

I have a BE Mnandi with basket weave damascus incoming. The remaining mammoths did not do it for me so I settled for a nice yellow BE. Thanks to the member who tipped me to ES.

Good luck LW, and I hope you don't get diverted to Syria

I know the one you got and it's a beauty with a gorgeous basket weave. I surprised it last more than a few hours, let alone a few days.
