Jealous. I saw that (maybe the same place you found it) and very nearly bought it. Beautiful.

I can't remember for sure (I check a big list of dealers/web locations every day), but I'm pretty sure it was last week. Probably either here or Ebay.Where did you see it?
I've bought a handful of those lately and all mine have been the same way. I think it's the ceramic ball wearing into the blade. All mine were smooth 48 hours later. I clean 'em and lube 'em with "gun butter", which is a pretty thin grease.Just got this puppy in!

Wanted to get yall’s thoughts. It’s a little stiff and you can hear the drag when opening and closing. Almost sounds like it’s dry with no lube. My thinking is they send it out like that to help break in the washers. I’m assuming they know what they’re doing and I shouldn’t break it down and lube it but rather just use it to break it in. I was even thinking that breaking it down and lubing it may prolong the break in on the washers even though it would temporarily make it smoother.
I guess my question is, should I break it down and lube or roll with it? This is only the second one I’ve gotten brand new. I will say though the insigno version was not as stiff and dry sounding so I didn’t even consider breaking it down. Let me know what yall think. Thanks
Carry and use for a week as it breaks in then tear it down clean/de-grease , lube and Bobs your uncleJust got this puppy in!

So you cleaned and lubed after 48 hrs or right away?I've bought a handful of those lately and all mine have been the same way. I think it's the ceramic ball wearing into the blade. All mine were smooth 48 hours later. I clean 'em and lube 'em with "gun butter", which is a pretty thin grease.
I don't think we should drift the thread too much. I'll send you a PM.So you cleaned and lubed after 48 hrs or right away?

Yup, that's why I passed on the one I spotted. Went back and found it, but won't mention specifics because it's sold and doesn't matter now. Don't wanna stir anything up.No, I wasn't going to get bent over for one.
