The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

I've been waiting for the right 'Paws' Sebenza to come along, and for once I saw the post in time. I'm glad the card doesn't specify what kind of paws, because this one is for both cats and dogs that I've loved and been loved by.

I now have a small and a large glass-blasted drop point Inkosi on the way. I’ve wanted to get a CRK since I handled them at Blade West in 2005 and the design of this knife is exactly what I’ve been wanting.

It’s been about three hours since I pulled the trigger on the small and went in the search for the matching large. I’m patient, but I will be stalking the delivery trucks pretty hard over the next week or so.

This just in. 21's are my cup of tea, but really wanted to add a Magnacut to the herd, so incoming 31...

A visitor that I proxied a few years back is coming through here again. From the era of the first run of Mnandis, there were 200 numbered Ziricote inlays made, all had BG-42 steel. In this pic is the only unnumbered one I've ever seen. Based on the birthdate, Sept 18, 2001, CRK was at around # 70ish when this was made.

So….today I got the chance to recoup the “knife tax” that I recently paid. :) Purchased this one here on the exchange, thanks to a fellow BF member (thanks, Olas40 Olas40 ). This is one of those special ones that will be in my collection for years to come.
There are knives that have a personal and deeper meaning to us, beyond just wanting it because we want it, or it looks cool, or it can fetch a good secondary price, etc. For me, replacing the Small WC that I lost after hurricane Ida represents the feelings of perseverance and determination to reclaim some normalcy and happiness. It serves as a reminder that life can change in an instant, and the small things that bring us comfort on a daily basis should never be taken for granted.
