Flea-bay find last week, Interesting grain on this Bog Oak. Wish my cell phone would take a better picture.

Hadn't at all anticipated this particular "incoming" -- but, it is a fitting way to end 2025.

This past year, we said goodbye to our 15 year-old Irish Setter, who was a rescue that we adopted 14 years ago. Many wonderful years together -- lots of happy memories, and lots of love. As 2025 came to an end, I was thinking of him, and came across a photo I had taken of his paw prints in the snow -- something to remember him by. Just for the heck of it, I decided to head online to see if there might be a "paws" Sebenza available out there (something I had never really explored before). Incredibly, one had just shown up -- a small 21 with 7 gold paw prints that closely matched the pattern of the 7 paw prints in the photo. Somehow, it seemed like it was just meant to be.

So, here is the incoming, along with the photo that set things in motion. It will have a very special place in my collection...

That's so perfect!

A fitting postscript to this story...

I wasn't home yesterday when USPS attempted to deliver the knife. Apparently, a signature was required for delivery, so back to the Post Office it went. I decided that I would make things easy by swinging by the Post Office to pick it up in person this morning.

Stood in line for about 5 minutes. Just as I had made my way to the front of the line, a new USPS employee opened up a slot behind the counter, and she called out to assist the next person. I went up to the counter and immediately broke into a big smile.

The reason? The person helping me was wearing a purple T-shirt with a USPS logo across the front. But, above it -- where the pocket would be -- was a large, bright green paw print!

I am still smiling... :)🐾🐾

No, pic (until it arrives) but I was quick enough on the trigger to snag an Inyoni when I received an email from Knifeart.com yesterday. Should arrive by early next week.
