Both cutting edges are convex from CRK, but your point is well taken about how difficult it would be to flat grind the front "chisel".

Believe me, I know that CRK edges are convex, and I know WHY they are convex...I have just stopped (long ago) attempting to convince guided system users not to convert their CRKs.

Understood, I figured as much. The WE actually can make beautiful convex edges, finishing up with a leather strop.

Old picture, but I have a soft spot for Tanto CRKs.



I thought about sending my Star-Tac to have a Tanto regrind but decided against it (for now).

Ha, I have a few up my sleeve. Like the 25 a lot.

Check the trade section, trying to diversify the treasures.
 
I just sent a new Large 21 Tanto to a custom engraver to do something special for me. Hope to have it back by the end of the week!
