That's the one. I was sure that I was going to get outbid lol. I think the only reason it went for as low as it did is because the seller didn't put "Sebenza" in the title.

So I just scored a large Sebenza 21 standard blade design , but I really wanted an Umnumzaan Tanto. I would not pay retail price for this knife so I check the CRK for sale forum frequently.

Got the Large Seb 21 for $305 (shipped and paypaled) in great condition. Since I love tanto blade I emailed Josh (owner) of RazorEdgeKnife.com and I showed him a picture of TNK Seb 21 tanto and he said that there is no problem regrinding my standard blade to tanto.

He said that it only needs a tip/mod tanto regrind and cost only $25 plus shipping.
RazorEdgeKnife is known here in the forum. Any input is greatly appreaciated.

I only use my knives for display( collecting) and SD carry. So I am not worried of reselling it etc... I never really cut anything , except my finger... :D

Will you do it?

He also resandblast scales for $10 each...

I'm not seeing how this is possible- the Tanto blade stock is longer to account for the Tanto shape. Your 21 will be a "short" Tanto. See what I mean:

How do y'all like the tanto? Looks mighty fine but I wonder about it's practicality and ability to sharpen.

I used to not care for tanto's. But curiosity got the best of me. The way I found out if it was a practical blade for my needs was to put in my pocket and carry it exclusively for a while. For a work knife, it does everything a drop point will do and a little more if you need a scraping tool. It isn't too at all for most food prep work. Not for me anyway.
Sharpening is a challenge if you don't free hand sharpen. I use a mousepad and sheets of different grits of sandpaper. And a lot of patience in order to keep the tanto a convex edge.
