The CRK that caught your eye today, PHOTOS encouraged! The PACK thread!

Okay ..... when I got up this morning I put away a new custom I received the other day. For some reason, this one caught my eye. Don't know why. I bought it in September of last year. While it is nice, I hardly rate it in my top 3 (maybe not even in my top 5) Mnandis ..... but, nevertheless, it caught my eye. Maybe because the light caught the greens and blues in the bark just right as I opened the knife chest up.

That is a very nice looking bark inlay. I really enjoy seeing all the different looks the bark can take on.
I hope to see one with those colors in person someday. That one definitely deserves to be called and eye catcher.
Thanks for sharing.

Dennis, I'm usually pretty critical of bark and I LOVE that. If that isn't in your top 5 then you must have some amazing Mnandis. (I'm sure that camel thorn with ladder is in the top 5).

It's been fun to see Lisa's creative mind evolve the UG art throughout the years. Such a huge breadth of extraordinary work! I remember when she started machining with small radius semicircular sector cuts, with row alternating spacing. The first thing that came to mind for me was the beautiful symmetry of peacock feathers. I just had to have a couple!

Alway a treat to see an old friend, and to hear that another is doing well. 😊

Fooj's Sinusoidal Wave Sebenza. One of my favorites! Pure pefection! Of course the Umfaan is not too bad either ....
