Yes. We have "the anticipation thread". But I couldn't resist to make an individual thread for this one, as it means so much to me. Hope you will excuse my behaviour.

When I bought the UG bronze spirograph regular last year from DallasSTB, there was another interesting knife at the picture in his sales thread, together with the UG bronze spiro.

During our conversation about the purchase of the UG bronze spiro I received detailed information from DallasSTB about the other knife. It is a very special knife, made for CRK's 21st business anniversary. It is a Classic Sebenza. Its blade is made from Gary House zebra damascus and the graphics and the inlayed gemstone symbolizing important important things associated with Chris's life, for instance South Africa, Idaho, the Zulu tribe. Only 21 pcs were made. So this is really a very special and also a very rare knife.

To celebrate such special knife, it comes within a package of nice things, like the cocobolo presentation box, an extra bead, extensive documentation and so on.

During our email exchange on the UG bronze spiro, DallasSTB also explained that this knife is currently not for sale. So I put it into a virtual parking lot in my memory and went on with the UG bronze spiro. Now DallasSTB was ready to let it go and we came to an agreement. As mentioned in the title, this knife will be the crown to my little collection. A true masterpiece and I cannot express by words how proud I am to own it. Can't wait to have it in my hands and you can bet, that nice pics will be published then.

Congratulations Stefan.. Truly a worthy piece to call the crown of your collection. The packaging it comes in is also special which adds to the wow factor of this piece. Again, congratulations! Cannot wait to see the photos...

Thanks for your kind words!

@ dinokay, that is awesome! Well. Who, if not you should have one :-) Thanks for the invitation to your club :-)

I'm sitting here cropping a couple fresh pics on the knife i call the crown of my own collection, and my mind drifted to this thread. I understand the feeling, James. I just hope your's doesn't take an unplanned detour in it's journey to you like mine did!

You certainly have a right to be proud of those beauties.

That has always been one of my favourite graphics. I spent a few summer holidays in Idaho, so I have an affection for the place to begin with, and also I think the overall layout of the graphics, the colours, and the choice in gemstones is really tasteful. I have always thought it looked like the spear was resting on the pivot screw. Great addition!

I remember that story. Yes. I hope it will make its journey without detour. Please share your pics of your "crown" here with us.

Well. Why not inviting all the brothers and sisters over here? Please post your "crown" of your CRK collection! I strongly believe that a crown of a collection doesn't necessarely have to be the most expensive CRK in your collection. It should be the one which touches your heart most. Whether because of the way you found it. Whether it was a gift from someone special. Whether there is a very special story connected to it. So lets see them, please and tell us why it is YOUR crown.
