The crown for my collection >> SHOW ME YOUR's, PLEASE

There are some serious art pieces on this thread. This is my only fancy knife in my collection, and by fancy, I mean the only one I carry and use because of the embellishments outside of ergonomics and grinds.

I feel lucky to have it, I know it has changed hands a few times. I love it!

I need to learn how to get good pictures and show the opal mosaic off better. Lots of good examples around!

LW, what do you mean by pre-date code?

CRK didn't start stamping date codes on handle slabs until sometime in 1997. Prior to that, the slabs are unmarked. Very early regulars, P's, and "Original" Sebenza's don't have date stamps inside the handle slabs.

Thanks for the info DallasSTB! I was confused as I had some 1998 to 1999 pieces pass by me that did not have the stamping date code.. So I was wondering if this was somehow different... :)

Those should have date codes, especially 1999.

That is correct, BG-42 in fact. They don't give me the inpression Chris did the graphics but you never know.

Off the top of my head Lisa used the light blue color very rarely. I'm not sure if she was there when these were made but the style does look like hers in my eye.

Here's another with the same theme but with a date of May 22 2006, this one has to be Lisa.

Yep, definitely a Lisa. A bit of a throwback her by then, but a pretty one. She was playing round with shading on that one, with a great result. Doesn't have the close together thin red lines that Scott seemed to favor, though.
