The dagger I've started

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I admit, it is a little crazy, but that's what happens when you take a two year hiatus... crazy projects emerge.

Any way, I got the final assembly done and now it's curing in the shop.
 
Okay, I'm finally done with this. I could keep working on it forever, but at some point I need to move onto other projects. The current shots don't look dramatically different from the pre-assembled shots. What changed was simply that I did some sanding on the handle to develop contrast between the vines and the background. I used 1200 and 2000 grit sandpaper to whiten and polish the vines, while the background was left essentially rough and darker. You can see the distinction much better in person. Anyway, I'm pleased with the result.
