Those are really nice looking. Love the jigged bone on these. Brownish jigged bone has always been my favorite.

I am seeing the top one being similar to a corn cob and the bottom one like the tiles/scales on an alligator, or more chunks and gouged.

Definitely a difference I liked the look of the bottom knife so much I switched my reservation. Lol :p

Picked this up at the Oregon Knife Collectors show.... It was great to visit with Charlie and Dave.. After being able to look at this knife up close for a couple of days, it really is a special knife..

That is fantastic jigging! Wish I didn't miss out on this run. They need to make more 😁

I don't know, that Antique makes me think of an old ancient scroll. A bit older than "Antique", but I digress.

I am a fan. If the Northfield looks anything like that, I will be comparable to a pig in slop.

IMG_2095.JPG IMG_2096.JPG IMG_2097.JPG A rainy Friday morning, the 7th of April, in Eugene Oregon, as we waited for the doors to be opened of the Community Center to set up for the OKCA show, Charlie received a box from Christine Tucker, the glue of GEC. In the box were Charlie's #48's, he cut open the box and pulled a tube out to examine as I looked on with anticipation!
After a quick CE & CF, Charlie handed the knife to me, as he wrote on the tube, "1st out of the box 4/7/17 @ 9.44AM" and signed his name! On the other space of the tube Charlie wrote "Dave's!!" Here is that knife plus another I purchased later that day, I love this pattern, blade geometry , color and jigging on these beauties!

Dave

Dave that is fantastic! Beautiful knife and experience. I have a chestnut on the way, so glad I ordered one!

Dave, those are stunning! I'm going to have to wait a few extra days to get mine, but if they're half as good looking as yours, it'll be worth it.

I think I'm leaning towards preferring the chestnut over the antique amber, but I'll make the call once I see them in hand. Both are very photogenic so far though.

Beautiful example Dave- deservedly so!!! If there was ANYONE who deserved that very first out of the Tube from the man himself- it's you, I am Rapt to read that!
That Jig work is actually extremely nice work! Well Done Bill!

Thank You Duncan! :)
It was a Great show! Spent with Great Friends!!
I know we both love this pattern and the experience of being there when Charlie 1st see's his dream come to life is just so COOL!! :D

Dave

Wowsers-that jigging is ye olde looking and captures the the true feel of traditional pocket knives-just perfect.

Very nice knives. I am just hoping to find one at all. Love the jigging!

These look incredible. I should be getting one in the mail today and cannot wait to see it.

Jamie - shoot me a PM when you have a chance. Your inbox is reading as full.
