Nice! I’m reprofiling and sharpening all my kitchen knives by hand right now. Been at it for a couple hours. Wish I had a belt sander

Is that one electric? I’m just using the roller style sharpener right now. It works good for kitchen knives. Not so good on folders though. I use the flat diamond plates for folders. I really need a lower grit to reprofile, it comes with a 320 and it’s taking a long time.

A lot of time I'll freehand the tip, but it worked on the kme. I needed to adjust the blade in the clamps however

The steak knife is the only one I've bought direct from Emerson, it has excellent fit and finish. I swapped the hardware and added a monster disc and bronze spacers with a MXG deep carry clip. One of my favorite Emersons. The action is perfectly flickable!

Ok cool. Good to know it works on a kme. Recurves too? Probably need a slimmer stone, like half inch?

You can sharpen recurves but you'll need to keep the stone moving in a sweeping motion. For more precise results, they have the jewel stick which has a convex shape
