Photos The Emerson Enclave

I have a Benchmade CQC7 that I've had (and used) since 1994. Hard use, and several blades have gone through it. I also have a BM AFCK from the same time period. Many blades have gone through this one. I just wanted to say that there is no discernible wear of the titanium lock at all on either, although the detent ball on the AFCK is pretty worn out. Both of these are tip down carry which is good as sometimes the blade will open slightly in my pocket.

I got my first Emerson CQC7A a week ago. Other than a weird little rattling sound when I shake it while the blade is halfway open like in the picture, I love it. I removed the scale screws and loosened the pivot so I could slide the scales around to locate the rattling sound. I thought maybe the stop pin needed to be tightened down. Well, it appears that the stop pin simply slides through the liners and is actually held in place between the scales.
