I don't have any photos, but I've done hardware swaps, including pivots between different models and between handle materials with no issues.Does anyone happen to have a side-by-side comparison of G10 vs. contoured Richlite scales, specifically the difference in thickness (if any)?
Much harder to go to a shop and handle Emerson models after the switch to direct sales only.![]()
Interesting, thank you! If all screws are swappable it seems like the contouring would have to be pretty minimal.I don't have any photos, but I've done hardware swaps, including pivots between different models and between handle materials with no issues.
The richlite feels nice in the hand and looks great in person. Plus it doesn't eat your pants!Interesting, thank you! If all screws are swappable it seems like the contouring would have to be pretty minimal.
this.^ i prefer it....due to emersons over the top sandpaper texture on his g10.The richlite feels nice in the hand and looks great in person. Plus it doesn't eat your pants!![]()
That's super helpful! Thank you for taking those pics. Here are the two I hardware swapped. A folding steak knife and a large seax. The richlite is slightly thicker, but the hardware is more recessed so it works either option.
