The first thing we do is post in the correct forum. Moving to Feedback. :)

I've only sold on here once so far, and when the knives sold i closed the thread. Maybe folk forget about it after they receive payment and send the knives out. Who knows...

I think it has alot to do with people not knowing they can do that. Half the time I still see "Sold. Please Close." At the end of a sales thread, so I don't think people are aware that they're responsible for policing their own threads.

I could see this being a problem if this was 1995 and most people was on dial up and it took 1 or 2 minutes to open a thread but when it takes 2 seconds to open and 1 second to close, is it really that big a deal?

That's funny. Who do they think is going to see that request, a moderator? We don't look in at the end of most threads. At most, we look at the beginning, to see if it's off to a good start, then you're on your own.

all that I am asking for is in there title is they put sold. that way I am not wasting my time at look to buy a knife that is already sold and that is the reason I don't bother looking at the exchange for a knife. as every time I look 90% of the knifes are sold.

I would rather they don't delete their prices, I couldn't care less if they lock or change the title once sold.

This^

It's always nice to see what the current market trends are. The threads are sorted by the *Last Post Time* Display option on my PC.

I only scan the new threads that interest me in the title. And what little bit of time it takes isn't a big deal.

Then I always click *Mark Forums Read* at the bottom. Makes the new threads easier to get to later.

But as always, YMMV...

I think some of this stems from people not knowing what they can control on the threads. I did not know how to change titles until fairly recently and did not find the lock option until after that.
