Metallica playing in Antarctica... pretty crazy that they had the headphones on everyone, not sure if there is not enough power to run all the sound support or they are trying to bring the noise level down.. I would love to see them play from that close, just maybe not at -12C, lol

Which is something that it takes all of about 10minutes to do, a good bit of family moved up into slidell after Katrina.

On a side note, I've been laid up sick for 2 weeks and I'm trying to decide if well enough to throw Around on some grown men and go back to judo or not.

Sure do miss it though, I've been having jujutsu related dreams lately.. last night I was challenged to control two guys at once and lost Due to my own lack of foresight, nothing like guilt dreaming for not practicing

O.K. I don't get it. Has Metallica's career dwindled so far down the crapper that they go all the way to Antartica to play for 30 people that speak Spanish? Id say they need a new manager, I hear Ned Beaty's manager that he had that got him the deliverance gig is still looking for work.

Well, kinda. They're obviously done as a chart-topping or serious touring band, and have been for at least a decade. On the other hand, they're still so huge that they can pick and choose festivals and one-offs to play, and still get paid a pretty good chunk of change. Not that they probably need it...

Look at Jimmy Buffet and Lionel Ritchie. Those guys get $250K+ to play one-hour sets at private corporate shindigs, and neither one has had a top-forty hit in, I dunno, thirty years? Black Sabbath is still selling ridiculous amounts of records and tickets and boxed-sets of old stuff... The entertainment industry is very strange.

When you see those cats showing up at county fairs and car-lot grand-openings when they're 50+, then you know the career's in the crapper. Still beats workin' for a living, though.

I have to say...
If I were confronted with the situation described above, and realized I had committed myself and that much of my money to a woman and her vices who genuinely used the alleged arguments in the alleged context with genuine intent and anger, I would likely also jump of shame and misery (or at least consider it).

(note the many instances of qualifying language)
