In the spirit of the forum though, Jeep makes cheap folders too, although I don't think they are called Wranglers. I think they are called the "Cheap Jeep from China" :D

You can get them at near any budget type sporting goods store. Cost about 5 bucks, made from 440C.

I'd load an image but I don't want that crap infecting my photobucket ;)

don't bother, .22 rounds are rarer than bigfoot and the loch ness monster's estranged love child!

They sprinkle 22 rounds on cupcakes where Im from. seriously, I have never seen anybody around her not have 22's hell I have 1000's of rounds in my garage. Back in the days you could buy the federal 500 round boxes for 5 bucks I bought the hell out of them. Ive really like shooting the cci shorts through the lever action as well as my sons chipmunk, I dont have as many of those, but they have always been in stock when I go get them.

No joke, I'll buy any .22lr's from anyone who's willing to mail them! (and i'd throw in a little extra to sweeten the deal :D)

People get up at 5-6am and practically buy it off the back of the loading trucks. If you miss a shipment, you're SOL until atleast a week or 2...

EDIT: Damn, apparently it's not allowed to mail live ammo....

I guess I'm going to have to drive to Indiana, buy a truckload of it, bring it back and sell it here for major profits :D

How to: OFF TOPIC: If you ever have problems with a double posts, here is a tip for you to avoid that.

When you get ready to hit "submit reply" and you get that message box that say's "Leave Page (or) Stay on Page"?

Hit "Leave Page." This will open up your message/reply looking like it still needs to post.

DO NOT HIT "SUBMIT REPLY/POST"

Just exit out of the page (not the forum). I do this by going back up and clicking the main BKT subforum page.

Then you can go back into the thread and see your post.

Now they are between about 25 and 40 bucks a box around here in my parts. If you can find them at all.

True, they are a lot more expensive now, but still available.....around here anyway.

Large calibers however are a different story, and if you can find then you cant afford them. At least I cant.

^^^This. Since the forum auto saves stuff, sometimes I just hit the browser reload and there it is. Alternately, if your post doesn't show up, you can usually just hit the reply button and then click "restore auto-saved content" button and try again. Thanks, Tom, for posting this....I had discovered this by trial and error but didn't realize it was a more universal problem. Glad you did.

Ammo has gotten expensive, I miss boxes of remington 22.

Now like you said, I have to settle for a plastic tray of CCI

You are welcome. I really like the auto-save. It's not really that heavy of a problem, I just think it's funny when I read "double tapped" or something like that. I've had a few early on, but its rare that I have them now. Sometimes my pc likes to dump on me a bit and there is the occasional double, LOL.

Now if I could just figure out the "reply to multiple posts" then I'll really be golden. For some reason, every-time I try it it doesn't work.

Here's how that works: Starting with the first post you want to quote, click the "+ button on the bottom right of the post. A check mark will appear. Do the same with every post you want to multi-quote except for the last post, which you will click the "Reply With Quote" button, and all of the posts you have selected should appear. You can also highlight and copy text you want to show as a quote and use the last button on the top toolbar, "wrap
tags around selected text" which will show whatever is in it with the "quote balloon". You can also just type in the tags, with you text in between the two. Good luck! Try it on your reply....

Aren't you just the HTML ninja....

Got sick and tired of all those Belgian beers in my garage, pff. Time for something different :D

I bought a reloading kit with my first centerfire firearm, and that was 2005. I thought centerfire ammo was expensive *then*.

Use UPS and all you have to do is slap an ORM-D sticker on it. Easy as can be.

22lr is scarce around here, too. I lucked out and got 4 boxes of Federal Automatch (325-pack) a couple of months ago. My son shoots 22lr like it's going out of style, but I've had to ration him this year. So far, we're still ok, but it's getting hard to find again. 22lr doesn't net the companies a lot of profit, so it's low on the production priority. Unfortunately, that means dads/kids, Boy Scout troops, Appleseed, and people who love plinking in the woods are finding it harder and harder to do.

Haven't heard a thing about all the applications I've put in. Got 2 calls today, and have an interview tomorrow, and one Friday. Yee haw. That is all.
