The Flea Market Mung Absolution Thread

Didn't want to compete with the Forge's Friday but for those of you who considered the DIW Asp, I just posted one up. :)

I scrolled just this far...
Brand new - never used or carried (bought from the Flea Market last year) $195.00 - Shipped PayPal Only

Apache EDC w/ Oreo burlap bolsters over Electric Plum, white pinout, Tapered Tang, Flat ground on 5/32” CPM 154 - (slight patina one side of the blade)

Hosted on Fotki

... and didn't need to see even the first picture before thinking, this won't last long.

I scrolled further:

I'll take this off your hands ;)

BOOM, baby.

Congrats! :)

Guys please don't clutter Andy's flea market with other makers work. They usually have their own sub-forum or use the main for sale one. I understand if it's the FB family. This should be obvious.

I could of course be wrong, but I believe Jarret has been adopted into the Fiddleback family by Andy and his knives have been allowed in the Flea Market for years.

Yeah, for what it's worth I believe the referenced posts are inline with permissible flea market rules. However, it might be better if the referenced OP consolidates their remaining non-FB listings to reduce possible confusion

Agreed.

Rules from the exchange that are regularly disregarded here even though they still apply:

Consolidate your 'like" items into a single thread. If you have multiple knives to sell, post them in a single thread. Or you can do different threads on different days. You are only allowed 1 sales thread, per day, per forum. If you list an item and it sells, don't start another thread in the same section until the next day. If a moderator consolidates your threads, edit the title and make any changes you need to. DO NOT START AN ALL NEW THREAD! Let's keep it fair for everyone.

You must wait 14 days (2 week rule) to relist an item for the second time. So once you list an item for sale, that item cannot appear for a second time in a sales thread until 2 weeks have passed from the date of the original thread. Any changes made to your existing sales thread (withdrawing, editing price, etc.) must be made to that thread, don't start new threads with the same items. Use a calendar if you need to. You can link your sales threads to your signature space, but don't make it a giant billboard.

You could be right, I couldn't find it anywhere where other brands beside the family were allowed. I personally would hate to see this turn into an open knife flea market.

It's never been an issue with Andy and crew and Thurin is correct.

Andy has stated in the past Jarrett Flemming knives are ok to offer up in the Flea Market. Andy has adopted the big ol' chicken farmer into the Fiddleback family.

Thanks for looking out though Bob!:thumbup:

p.s.

If anyone sees something questionable and wants clarification just send me a PM and I will get with Andy & check it out.

Cool, I'm sorry if I sounded like an ass, just trying to lookout for FB. I have a new Flemming being made right now and will post up pics when Jarret finishes it.

You didn't come off sounding like an ass ..... so much[emoji12]Glad to hear that you're having a Fleming made. If you don't have one yet I can tell you, you will love it! You're going to have to post pics as soon as you get it....[emoji41]
