I commend your Google-Fu skills! That's some next level stuff right there...interesting looking lock mechanism. While I'd be more than happy with a well-executed frame lock, I like that Jerry is thinking outside the box.

How old are these pics?

If he still is working with this overall design and style of lock, then I can totally see why we will be waiting many weeks worth of "two weeks" - looks like there's lots of use and reliability testing that would have to happen before Jerry gives us a folder with the mighty Busse warranty. Considering how much more abuse and stress a folder takes in normal EDC use (and I imagine even more so if it's wearing the Busse badge), Jerry and crew will have to make sure the folder is bullet-proof...

interesting design. Hmm. I need to study this a bit more. You are a master of the Gooogle Fu I see.

This just made me that much more excited for the folder,
even if this patent isn't the basis for what we end up getting.

Jerry is one of the most innovative and creatively driven minds in the industry.
I like to think we give him a hand in staying fresh and different.
