The Gathering is upon us - 2017 spring edition - sign-up closed

Waiting for pics as well, gotta let people get home first, I guess.

Wasn't able to make this gathering due to my schedule but sounds like there was some fun events and discussions happening, I will need a pictorial of these happenings.:)

I had a great time at the gathering this weekend so thankful that such great people allow me to come hang out it was a blast thanks everyone I'll add photos shortly
 
Had a great time this weekend, Thanks again to Mr Becker for having this event. Great people, Great food always learn new things over the weekend.
 
I got home just after 4 AM - truck is unpacked, gear mostly stowed back away, laundry almost finished.
had a good time - was great seeing everyone there and also that the weather held off for the most part.
 
I had the best of times...... You all were the best of the best of guests......Dogwood Dan gave us a GREAT meal on Friday.... There were bets on whether Gutsy was gonna turn into a shrimp grenade or not...... I am very grateful.... Thank you, Dan......The weather up until latish Saturday night was damn close to perfect and most people were off the hill by the time it hit...... The Moose, Mel and the girls made it this time....Yay....... the Trades were moving Son Ryan.... Damn..... DerekH and Pointy were understandably missing..... Pointy because he was witnessing the birth of his first born...YAY!!!!....

On Saturday morning CM Rick(Fox Walk primitive), Gutsy and I did an axe seminar/safety discussion which, I think was enjoyed by most........

The afternoon was taken up by the contest and it was, as usual, a hoot...... Mike proved that focus and strength from too much martial arts training can pay off.......

I finally made enough pork loin to have leftovers but, only, I suspect because everyone was still sated by The Dogwood Dan Low Country Boil from Friday evening........ Brian did not, I repeat, did NOT bleed a single drop all weekend..... we had a great big greasy breakfast to give energy for the ride home......

Every Gathering has a distinct flavor to it and this on was one to savor...... Fellowship in large quantities, much scheming about new projects, I detected some networking and a lot of newer people became family.

We had a few young adults, who were a whole lot better than ok.... thank you!!!!!...
I do have to mention the two Youngest of our company..... Murph's daughter who is, in Tradewater's word "weaponised cute and Jesse Winger who is the mighty little engine that kicks serious ass!..... Go Jesse!!!!!

Without the help of Murph and Eric and Todd Hunt and Allie it would be painful rather than pleasant to put these on...That having been said...This group is the best bunch of guests a host could possibly ask for...EVERYBODY chips in and gets it done and almost always without anybody asking. Poof, I think about something that needs don and I look around and it is.....I think the shop is cleaner and neater than it was, the kitchen and grounds as well.... Damn, I am already looking forward to the next one!!!!!!!
