The Gift Thread!!

Generosity abounds on this Porch!! Many of us have been the recipients of gift from a fellow frequenter of these enjoyable pages, and would like to show it off, and pay tribute to the giver!!
Questions arise; Should I post it, then watch it eventually join the other one-time threads as they fade off into the "sunset"?? Is it worth taking up bandwidth on BF for a short-lived thread??
Maybe if we have a Gift thread, we don't have to answer those questions, but we'll have a place where generosity has some staying power!!??
So I thought I'd give it a try and see what proceeds!! :cool: I'll start out with a nice visit to the USA where I picked up some pleasant mail!!
Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 Notified me of an example of my first HJ up on the ubiquitous auction site!! (Begins with an E!) I saw that someone sharpened it poorly, and it wasn't selling at a not-bad BIN price, and hemmed and hawed, but Paul didn't let it go and grabbed it for me, then refused payment!! Such a nice gesture!! I can clean up the edge easily, and Voile', an EDC is born!!!Gifts from Celebs 3.jpg

HJ-1 is the only HJ that was made in stainless!! It brings back great memories! Very nice handles on this one!!

Coinciding with my release of the Flact-Cap Lambfoot, a carry slip with the mark of the Lamb!! ;) Gifts from Celebs 2.jpg
The scratches are on my scanner's glass!! The Emerald thread is from Jeremy!! Ha Ha!!!

The copper coins came with the HJ!! Thanks for those also, Paul!! I do collect copper coins!! Some day they'll be worth a fortune!!! Ha Ha!!

Great Idea for a thread. I too have been the recipient of porch kindness on numerous occasions and it will be nice to keep em all in one place.
