These 2 were gifted to me back in 2017 from a couple of friends . I always carry them together in slips . One day they will go back to them in North Dakota and New Zealand .

Charlie, This Thread is such a great idea, so if we ever see a thank you thread - we should ask mods to place it in here - This is a GREAT idea.

I really want to start thanking people, but I am very much likely to forget someone and therefore insult them as if their gift didn't mean anything, where as every knife gifted is immensely important to me.
I can say this as Charlie - as this is your Thread, you kind Sir have gifted me many knives and I am forever grateful for not only those gifts, but as well all the help with you sharing your immense range of knowledge to not only me but to everyone here.

Thank you everyone who have been so kind to me, you have really all made this place such a fantastic place - especially for me.

So I've always been a fan of the sodbuster design(mainly Case Sodbuster Jr) but I wasn't really aware of the different versions of this knife made by countless companies spanning across the globe. I knew of some china made versions and the Queen Country cousin but other than those and the Case versions I was in the dark. One day I happened across a thread and saw a Schatt&Morgan Stag Sodbuster and was pretty intrigued to say the least, I had to have one! Searching high and low for this knife with my google fu I came across a whole world(literally) of sodbusters and learned that they are...

Then I was very fortunate to win this TC barlow with the very limited storm bone handle in a giveaway by waynorth

Finally I received this Case Backpocket from Primble in one of his famous Kentucky derby giveaways.

That's a wonderful gift Mike ( of whom I’ve been a recipient), I don't think you can earn a gift, but some are more deserving than others.
