Thanks for the inspiration. After chopping through an 8" railroad tie I think anyone could down an 8" diameter tree in 15-20 minutes with one.

Why wait that long? You live near DC, take it to Southeast one night and just walk around, you'll be able to use to for its intended purpose in no time at all. I'd love to see DC police chief Cathy Lanier figure out how to handle a self defense killing with a sword.
