The last two inches nearest the tip were a little dull. Nothing that 5 minutes on a stone didnt fix. No chipping at all. I have yet to chip a blade on any of my Busse knives. I have rolled the edge a few times, but that is also a quick fix. I wish I could say the same thing for S30, I seem to be able to chip it with a dirty look.
