Sure we all love stag.
And exotic woods.
Jigged bone is a winner too.

But I am here to promote some joy for the old standards.
Saw cut delrin and good old stagalon :)

We know you've got 'em…

Come along and share the joy :D

I grew up with these kinds of knives....still have a soft spot for them! Thanks for this thread!

Have more Uncle Henry and Old Timers butI won't make you guys suffer through more lousy pics.. :D

(My 20.00 camera sux and it's too cold to re-shoot these all together....sorry)

It must be that time of year, because I'm carrying a yellow Case peanut and a Stagalon Uncle Henry 885UH today.

I have a few. The first one here is a bnib Old Timer 330T

This next one I was gifted by Duncan from here in the Traditional Forum and I try to carry it at least once a week. It's a Boker Tree Brand Stockman.

This one is a Schrade Barlow I picked up off the exchange a while back. The picture is horrible and kind of blurry because I have this one on me today and all I have at work is my very phone that has an incredibly poor camera and likes to make everything blurry. I will try to update it later. I'm really tempted to have somebody install some nice bone or wood covers on this particular knife.

Hmmmmm....that Barlow looks very familiar. :) Glad you're using it. New covers would be nice on that one. It's a good tight knife.

I tell you this stuff breeds like bunnies! Every time I get rid of one of my Improved Stags, another one finds its way home.

Placed for adoption, but not forgotten

I was wondering if you would comment on this one. :) It really is a great knife and I think it would look perfect with some nice black ebony or I do have a couple slabs of black and white ebony laying around that I've been waiting for just the right knife to have it installed on. This just might be the one. If it does end up happening I will send you some pictures for sure.

No Schrade staglon (yet) though I bought my sons newer BSA 100th Anniversary Schrade Uncle Henry lockbacks.

a couple of mine, the big boy on top was my first pocket knife around 1984, from my grandpa, early mid 70's camillus folding hunter (ridiculously big and wide too!)
the bottom was a schrade that was also my grandpas

I love the Schrade Delrin, this one could be mistaken for bone (and was by the dealer who sold it to me.)

I think this is delrin.

There's something about a 5Ot, I've wanted one for a long time but just have never bitten the bullet and bought one off the bay.
