The varity of color combinations of Delrin are pretty amazing, and what drew me to collect multiples of the same patterns in the first place. Not only the changes in time of the color of the base Delrin material, but in the dyeing and finishing process. Sometimes some amazing and unintentional hues come out.
The dye process was entirely up to the judgement of the operator. Sometimes the bath was weak, sometimes it was fresh and strong.
Likewise the glazing process was operator dependent until it was finally automated.
One of the earliest of the pattern, a Schrade Walden 897UH Signature Premium Stockman.
