The great bk2 challenge is on!!!

Everybody likes to brag about how sharp their 2 is, so let's just settle this thing. Here is the challenge: Using only your BK2, slice a standard issue Spanish olive into as many slices as you can.

The Rules:

*Only Spanish olives with pimento can be used (it's all I happen to have in the house)

*No freezing, or solidifying the olive by physical or chemical means

*Hypnotizing or threatening the olive is forbidden

*Photographic evidence of the sliced olive must be posted along with your slice count

*Just the tip DOES count

*Cursing is allowed

*Pre-slice consumption of alcohol is allowed and in fact, encouraged. Include the beverage(s) consumed along with your slice count.

*Explaining WTF you're doing to witnesses is allowed

*There is no time limit once slicing begins.

*This is open to everyone



The prize is ultimate bragging rights of having the.....

SHARPEST BK2 ON THE FORUM!!

I'll come up with a trophy or patch or something worthy of this honor.

It's time to see who has it once and for all. Got the wasillas to enter?

Can I cheat and use my Camillus? :D
It's .208" thick instead of .254" like my Ka-Bar.
Also, is there a size limit on the Spanish olive? :p

Are there bonus points for slicing off the tips of one or more fingers by accident? :eek:

I was thinking the same thing (not the Camillus), Costco sells some seriously large olives ;)

We are a no-olive household. Idk why, but neither of us really dig 'em, so we never have them around. Cool idea for a contest, though. May the best BK2 win!

Hmmmmmm....there seems to be some pimento missing from the slices on the right...an explanation would be in order..
 
Unlike mankind, all olives are not created equally, I bought cheap olives I guess, they shorted me some pimento.:o That olive is however is in it's original condition as spooned out of the jar though. :D

The rule does not say the pimento must extend the entire length of the olive, just that it must contain pimento. I believe it qualifies. LOL!!!!!!!!;)
 
I've got jack. Last two olives I had were blue-cheese-stuffed, and I swilled them down with a martini the other night. :(
 
Ok, this is pretty damn funny, and badass at the same time. Just had to say that. I would so be in this, but we are a no olive household as well, so, slice on.

I think you guys need to step up your game: I just got 14.5 slices using the factory edge.
And no, I did not sift through looking for a giganto "ringer" olive :p
