The great bk2 challenge is on!!!

I think you guys need to step up your game: I just got 14.5 slices using the factory edge.
And no, I did not sift through looking for a giganto "ringer" olive :p

Those look like Queen Manzanilla Olives. I call for a recount. Hahaha good job bro :D

What is this "14.5" crap? Where does it mention fractions in the official rules?

(damn, I really am going to have to step up my game)

Dang, I really want some olives now. For eating, and for cutting.

You didn't have to. Looking at the bottle, they're all JUMBO OLIVES!
Not sure if the 3rd from the top counts as a whole slice.
I won't even mention the squirt at the end. :D

Sorry fellers. I've been trying to get my congressman to push through that standardized olive bill, but you know politics and red tape...

That 3rd from the top left was my .5, since the top right was the tip end. BTW I'm proud of my nubbins cut (bottom right) :p

If this counts as a disqualification I will be forced to open a beer and drink it as protest. Conversely, I will celebrate my BK2 olive-batoning skills with a beer.

Carry on :D

Your nubbin is allowable. However the third from the left has been deemed a "partial" after official review. Sorry. Your count is 14. Now....I'll join you in that beer as a salute to one slick slicing son of gun.

From my testing it looks like 12-14 is about all you can accomplish with the factory blade width. Not really a 'sharp' issue...

This is about as thin as I can go:

I think 16 to 18 is possible. Let's give it a day or two and see. There are some heavyweights out there that haven't picked up the gauntlet yet!

hell, mine is so sharp that I kept slicing and when I got to 576 slices I looked at my work to see that I made olive oil!:D

I got so excited I had to sharpen my blade.. Then I realized that your kind "warnings" to tighten the bolts wasn't comlpete bull

Suddenly one dropped out when I was sharpening my blade!!

Cut one in half using the "Kevin costner Bodyguard silk scarf technique" Then I will be impressed.

Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Twenty-two slices is going to hard to beat. Good job man.
