Anyone else carrying one today?
Very likely, this is my all-time favorite folder. ;)

Let's see your 112(s)... Here's one of mine:

Here's mine. It has been my riding partner since 1973. Love it.

The one thing I like about the 112 over the 110 is that finger guard. I wish the 110 had that feature.

My standard 420HC model from 2015. I think the 112 fits my hand better than any other knife. The handle width and finger guard really make it feel secure and comfortable. I feel like I could cut through anything with this knife.

Engraved bolsters would look nice, don't you think?

My all-time favorite folder. My constant companion when I worked as a wildland firefighter. I've given them as gifts, but always keep a couple in the safe (or on my belt).

I rotate between a 112 and a 110. I carried the 112 exclusively for a while, but alternate now. I really love the front bolster. It feels more comfortable in hand, but I like the extra blade on the 110. It's a great EDC size though. I was thinking about asking the wife to get me a new one, because I like it so much and if it had sentimental value I'd have it on the belt everyday. I hope this thread takes off...I'd love to see some new 112 pictures...

I think the 112 is the prettiest production knife made. Period.

I particularly love the early ones with a bit beefier tip and no nick, like this 2-dot.

I'm with JD Bear though... I generally carry the 110 (rear pocket) as I just prefer the longer blade. If force to front pocket carry, I gravitate towards the 500.

Would love to see more 112 pictures. Wonderful looking knife.

Bob - that's a beautiful 112...is that oak?

pinnah - I love the blades without the nail nick. There's something about them that makes them soooo cool looking. I've still never gotten a 500. It's always on the list, but I never went for it yet. I think my next Buck will be a 112 with finger grooves. I got a 110 fg and didn't like it at first, but now I carry it more than my custom with nickel silver and oak...

Lost my slimfit awhile ago, found it and it has ridin with me everyday since

I only have one 112, this 2-dot. I had sent it back to Buck at the beginning of the year to give it the spa treatment and to have a factory edge put back on it. I haven't been able to bring myself to use it because it is so nice. :o I've been wanting to get a new 112 to add to my collection, but just haven't got around to it yet.

My current 112 is dated 1999, but I think I acquired it in 2003 or so. It was to replace the one my dad bought me in 1993 or so that was lost on a camping trip.

Per this thread, I have been carrying my 110 since last weekend, but I may need to dig out my 112 and give it some carry time too. They are just both so great.

The PaperStone 112 is a nice light weight model. I like that the dimensions are the same. I'm okay with the finger grooves, but I could have lived without them too.

It really is a tough decision every morning. There are times when I have my 110 on me and I wish I had the 112. Or the other way around. It's like I miss which ever one I'm not carrying. I think I might start carrying the 112 for work and the 110 on the weekends. I'll see how long that lasts....

Here's mine, along with my Bucklite which I always thought of as a Ranger lite. I always preferred the Ranger to the 110, the slightly smaller blade seemed a better size for me. When I was a small town police detective I talked the Chief into approving the wearing of brown gear (holster, handcuff pouch etc) instead of only black for the sole purpose of wearing the brown Ranger sheath!
