The Hinderer Anticipation Thread - What Are YOU Waiting for?

I still plan on buying a production stonewashed 3 " inch slicer. I dont know if Id have the heart to carry around the custom. I know its silly, but has always been my grail collection knife and I want to keep it pristine. Few more teasers ;)

Waiting on my first Hinderer now. USPS says it departed Anaheim today and should be here (FL) tomorrow. I feel like a kid tracking Santa on Christmas Eve, but I have my doubts about it arriving that soon.

Love the B+W pics!

She's a beauty chaos!!!

mmassey, yes the dreaded wait....

CMD, congrats on that stunning wharnie!!! What a catch on that one!!

Congrats mmassey! Welcome to the herd! A fellow Floridian at that!
Thanks DPRICHARD! Where in FL are you?
Kwazy, the usps doesn't update info as often as ups or fedex, and I don't know if that's better or worse. It's still just showing as departed Anaheim.
Lots of beautiful knives and well composed pics on this thread.

Thanks fellas! I happened to be looking just as it popped up. I sent a pm with an offer then said screw it and took it at asking before someone else grabbed it. In between my offer and me saying "ill take it" a few of you fine folks emailed and texted me with a heads up. Thank you guys!!! I love this community. :)
I've been on the fence about a 3 in XM for a long time and my curiosity finally got the best of me last night. I love the 24 and ill always own one, I think the 3.5 is perfection and ill always own several, I am really excited to see how I feel about this little knife. I edc a 3.5 (which one depends on the day) and I also edc a 3 in fixed blade so I'm pretty confident ill like the size. I originally wanted a 3 in spanto but I'm pretty excited I snagged a slicer. Slicer is my favorite grind so it makes sense I suppose. Now the fun part. The wait.

The 3" XMs are small, but not too small. I find I carry one often as a tuck-away type item...don't really know it's there till I choose to use it. In my pocket/similar as I type this are 2 3.5s, a FP and a 3"...24's nearby too.

I live in Brooksville, but commute to Palm Harbor (Clearwater) every day. I grew up in Tampa / Brooksville for the most part.

It will be fun to try something new. Damn! You are prepared my friend!

I often set one down as I do this/that..and instead of reaching for it again...grab another from a pocket and proceed...pick up after myself when done.

Knife, wallet, flashlight, phone, CCW, key fob, change, pen..... sometimes there is barely room for me in my pants.... I'm maxed out!

Makes sense to me N2K! I get crap from people for carrying 2 (an 3.5 XM and a 3 in fixed). I just laugh and tell them ones for cutting up my steak and the other is for picking my teeth.

I just sealed the deal on a Gen 3 custom Spanto!! It will look good in the new smooth CF scale that's on it's way.

Now I can go enjoy my vacation and have a few nice things to come home to.
