The Hinderer Anticipation Thread - What Are YOU Waiting for?

I just bought my first hinderer, an XM 18 3.5" Spanto with textured CF scale. Can't wait to get it tomorrow!
 
Had a buddy order me some bushido tabs while I was at work today....pays knowing someone with a lot of time on his hands :p
 
Honestly was not looking....quite happy with my Herd....but I opened an email yesterday and something insane dropped out.....an an offer to buy an XM I have admired for years....and as far as I know, there is only one of them.....:D

Sorry guys....was out and about....and then asleep....:D

It's a 3" sterile, bronze ano'd, custom spanto with a hand-rubbed, satin finished lockside and all bronze hardware.....it's a Hinderer masterpiece.....
There are very few hand-rubbed satin locksides, fewer in the 3" XM.....and this is the only spanto in bronze.....(as far as I know....but reasonably sure)
Now the waiting....and the journey through Canada Customs......:D
 
Thank you, Mike. Honestly wasn't looking....I had finished after the dagger.....but I just couldn't say no to that one.....
I suppose I suffer from a horrible lack of willpower when it comes to my daughter and XMs....:D

Chris....I'll post a couple when it arrives but it'll take a week or two......:(

Very, very cool! I know how if is with Canadian customs, that's the most time consuming part of the journey. :/
 
Finally scored a 3 inch slicer on the exchange. I look forward to customizing it and then putting it to work:thumbup:

The 3.5 did nothing for me, so I'm hoping the 3 inch size is more to my liking.
 
Im not currently waiting for an xm in the mail, but i am waiting for rick to start making 3" spearpoints!!
 
Hi all. I'm a hardcore Spyderco fan and always will be. When it comes to knives I only buy Spyderco. Well, that was true until yesterday. I was fortunate enough to snag a blue wharncliffe yesterday from the Facebook flash sale. I'm hoping that it will arrive on Saturday and that I'll be able to pick it up.

Anyway, just introducing myself :) Once I get my hands of it I'll be sure to post photos.
