pos·si·bil·i·ty
ˌpäsəˈbilətē/
noun
noun: possibility; plural noun: possibilities

- a thing that may happen or be the case.

- the state or fact of being likely or possible; likelihood.

- a thing that may be chosen or done out of several possible alternatives.

Because of this thread, I think we are Waaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond "Possibility"!!!!

We've had multiple dedicated members posting relentlessly for it to be released. Almost 109k views (at the time of this posting). We've witnessed cats, children and Aussies suffering, repetitive stuttering, 80's action heroes screaming for it, Baby Kung Fu masters encouraging it and cartoon characters drooling for it.

It HAS to happen or the planet will fall off kilter and may crash into the moon, causing who knows what kind of chaos throughout the universe.

Besides all that, Jerry's a Smart Man! The writing's on the wall on how much this release will bring in and I'm Sure the Boss's Boss (Mrs. Busse) is just about ready for that new home on their own private island, especially with winter just around the corner.

It's almost here... I can feel it!!!

Right now is such a good time for people getting geared up for entry level search and rescue. I recently told a friend who was asking me about knives for this purpose to not even question it, just go and buy the scrapyard 911 and 511. This combo would put him on the top of the curve in a hurry. Slam dunk (or other misc sportsball reference).

He didn't listen.

Baffled, I turned my power of persuasion on myself and bought a B5 and B9 (the latter of which I can't wait to arrive, the former which already has). Resiprene goodness even in the absence of the much desired B8.

He should have listened. It would have saved me so much.

Stump just mentioned "the bosses boss. Miss Busse"..... Makes me think that we are making appeals to the wrong person....

come on miss Busse. Let Jerry out and play..... Pleeeeeeeze let him make the B8 for uuuuuusssss .....pleeeeeeeeeze!!!!

....not too much, I hope?

Gotta go for the Eddie Haskell approach , Fumes...take notes... ( Google & YouTube is your friend, for all you members under 50 )

"Gee, Hello Mrs. Busse, sorry I didn't speak sooner because for a moment there I thought Mr. Busse was talking to Jessica Alba...it was an honest mistake, SORRY! :o The Jazzercise is really paying off Mrs. B! But you might want to turn it down a notch or two because you're starting to look shockingly slim! Mr. B is gonna have to buy you a whole new wardrobe if you keep that up. Speaking of new wardrobes & dresses & such I saw on Instagram where Jennifer Aniston was wearing a LBD at the premier of her new movie, it was a size 8, if I remember correctly. She's so stylish, and it naturally reminded me of you, which in turn reminded me that Mr. Busse said something about a new knife-- a LB-8, 8 b D, or B-8, or something like that? Could you ask him about that, by chance...THANK YOU Mrs. Busse! Oh, by the way what's that perfume you're wearing...I gotta buy some for my girlfriend, it's intoxicating!"

Class Dismissed

It bothers me a little that this form of psychosis is apparently operating in the Busse population at large and is not confined, as I had hoped, to my own demented mind. (I picked up the B7 from your B9 source, BTW.)

Ah, I was wondering who got that one. Good snag! *writes notes in notebook for future reference*

Is it awesome? I'll bet it's awesome. It's awesome, isn't it? :D

Obviously I've taken to using this thread as some sort of Resiprene C support group. I'm on the verge of ridding myself of all things micarta, though I may keep ONE (just can't decide which).

It's awesome.

For years I've bought full-tang micarta Busses and have been ecstatic with them until, in some idle moment, I compare them in terms of weight-to-performance, ergos and price to their Res-C clad brethren. The full-tang pieces typically fade a bit from these comparisons.

I KNEW IT! :D

If it's convenient, can you tell me the length from resiprene to tip on the B7? I've been trying to find it by searching but haven't had any luck.

Once all the current moving and shaking is done with my collection, the mid-sized blade is all I will "need." Currently the B7 or Camp Tramp fit this niche, but the B8 would trump either of those two for me.

Smooth coat B7s are 7.25" from Res to point. Crinkle 7s are 7" on the nose.

Ouch! Guess I'll watch the Exchange for your "Cast off Micarta" ;)

This greedy little piglet is ADDING the Res-C Beauty known as the B-8 to his existing hoard!!!! :D

Gimme, Gimme, GIMME it now pleeeeeezzzeee BossMan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I love all my Bussekin knives, whether Res-C or micarta handled. However, I DO appreciate the lighter weight Res-C when I have a knife on my belt, which is just about always. What we need to do is convince Jerry that he NEEDS to make more Infi knives with Res-C handles!;)
